Welcome to Revival, a new bottle shop featuring an artful collection of value-conscious wine, craft and import beers and spirits. Sample something new while you check out the art, and enjoy a whole new shopping experience. We are anything but an average liquor store!
Wine, Beer and Spirits
Owner Jeff Huff likes to find single vineyard wines from family-owned vineyards that over produce for the money. Sourcing organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines is a priority. You can expect to find an interesting collection of wines, both domestic and international, with new arrivals all the time. Expect to find local craft beer, hard ciders and gluten-free brews as well. The liquor selection will be a combination of moderate to high-end domestic and imported labels from small batch distilleries and others.
Books and Art
“Where wine meets art,” is more than a tagline, it is our mission — to present delicious wine and a feast for the eyes as well. We will feature the work of local artisans throughout the store on a rotating basis. And if you want to spend a little time learning about wine, beer or spirits, feel free to relax on our comfy furniture and read one of the reference books from our in-store collection. Yes, we’ll have a wi-fi hotspot, too.
Tastings, Classes and Demos
If you want to learn more about wine, Revival is the place for you! Tastings will happen often, featuring new arrivals and top values. We invite vineyard owners, winemakers, distributors, wine writers and other experts to present in-store demos, seminars and classes…some will even appear via Skype on our SmartTV. Be sure to join our email list to find out about all the upcoming opportunities to expand your knowledge, and sample what’s new.
“Revival” means many things to us. The architectural style of the Pioneer Press building is considered to be Romanesque Revival. “Revival” evokes even more meaning as you see the renovation of the Pioneer and the Endicott underway. “Revival” can apply to everything that is happening now and has been for the past several years in Lowertown and the entire City of St. Paul. And, of course, after a restoring libation, you might just be feeling a revival of your own.
About the Proprietor
Jeff Huff co-founded the award-winning Little Wine Shoppe in 2005, and worked hands on as owner-operator for seven years. He received his formal wine education from the ISG (International Sommelier Guild) located at The Art Institutes International Minnesota. Jeff and his shop dog, a Cockapoo named Pepin, look forward to greeting you when you visit the store.
